Radical Monday Hot Cocoa Ministry Sign-up Form

We are excited to announce that we are launching a Radical Monday Hot Cocoa Ministry!!!

WHEN:  Every Early Release Monday beginning December 2 from 1:15 -3 :00 PM, except on non-school days (holidays and summer)

WHAT:  We will hand out hot cocoa and granola bars/cookies to students who walk home from school.  

VISION:  The high school students from our youth group will be walking home from the OHHS as soon as they are released and will help serve hot cocoa to the neighborhood students. It will be a great time for our church to serve and interact with kids in the area and let them know that God loves them and that people at The Journey care for them. Some of the youth are excited to bring their friends over!

WE NEED VOLUNTEER ADULTS:  We need at least 2 adults each Monday to... 
  • Prepare the hot cocoa and supervise the Youth
  • Must be cleared by the WA State Patrol (if you don't have clearance yet, let us know and we'll get you started)
  • If you are willing to give up at least one Monday afternoon per month, get out in the cold, and reach out to the neighborhood kids, please sign up below!
  • If you are unable to volunteer, but would like to help donate some of the supplies that are needed, you may sign-up below as well, and THANK YOU!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Hot Cocoa, paper cups with lids, hot cup sleeves, individually wrapped cookies, snacks, Goldfish crackers, Oreos, etc.
