America 250 - The Heart of America

This weekend we continue our celebration of this momentous occasion of the 250th Anniversary and birth of the United States of America and wrap up our three-part series on “America – God Shed His Grace on Thee”. 

In today’s message (Part 3) Pastor Mark Geer examines the heart of America and what makes her so unique among the nations of the world. He highlights six points on why we should honor America from a message preached by Evangelist Billy Graham on July 4, 1970 at the “Honor America Day” event from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. 

Pastor Mark also details six ways that the church in America can rise up in these times of darkness and shine the light of Christ to our nation and world. These are adapted from Robert J. Morgan’s article “The Work of Christ is Unstoppable” and give a most practical way that we as Christians in America can engage our fellow countrymen and culture with the power of the Gospel.
