Pastor Leland Geer

Today's guest speaker is Pastor Leland Geer. He is a retired minister of over 50 years in pastoral ministry and counseling service and serves here at The Journey as an assistant pastor.

His message today touches on "The Righteousness of God" from 1 Corinthians 1:26 - 2:1. He opens the Scriptures to us highlighting the following three points:

1. Born as sinners we have no righteousness God approves of or is please with.

2. Being sinful, and not righteous, we face a judgment resulting in eternal condemnation - no exceptions.

3. But God, acting in in grace, sovereignly has given us sinners Jesus as our righteousness. So Rejoice!
