Evangelist Ernie Salinas

Today's guest speaker is Evangelist Ernie Salinas. He and his wife Carol travel throughout the United States ministering in churches, encouraging the Body of Christ, and bringing the Good New of God's love and salvation. Their travels also take them to Alaska every year to minister among the tribes and churches of Alaska's native population and overseas as well, teaching in Bible schools, churches and sharing from house to house. They travel to Latvia routinely each year encouraging the churches and Bible students in a school there, teaching extensively from the Scriptures on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit.

They are frequent guests here at The Journey and we are delighted to have them share today. Pastor Ernie's message today deals with what Jesus taught about the reality of Heaven and Hell from Luke 16:23-31. It is the unique account Jesus told about a rich man who died and is in the torments of hell and a poor man who also died named Lazarus who ends up in the comfort and paradise of "heaven" - also known as "Abraham's Bosom". The dialogue between Abraham and the rich man reveal the truth and reality of two certain destinations men will go to after their death - and only faith in Jesus Christ will result in the promise and hope of Heaven!
