Message #41 – CHRISTOLOGY - The Doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ (Part 3)
Today we continue our new series of messages in our Systematic Theology study called Christology. It is the study of the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ and today we look again at His humanity – also known as “The Incarnation”. It is an exploration of why God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ and more specifically how He did so.
Today we look at three critical aspects of the Humanity of Christ that help develop the doctrine of Scripture that Jesus truly did indeed become fully human. First, the virgin birth of Christ. Second, the sinless nature of Jesus. And Third, the human nature of our Lord. It is incredibly comforting to know that Jesus desired to walk in our shoes, feel our experience as one of us, and take on our struggles as His own to rescue us from sin. And today He still identifies with us as our great Meditator and Intercessor!
Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
