Message #57 – SOTERIOLOGY - God's Great Plan of Salvation (Part 13)

Jun 5, 2022    Pastor Mark Geer    Series: Systematic Theology for Daily Living / Text: Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 12:6-7; Matthew 10:28; 2 Cor. 5:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Hebrews 4:12

The message today continues a series of discussions on how God’s great salvation is applied to our lives in a practical sense. Today we discuss the mysterious, but powerful experience of regeneration – or being “born again.” This incredible work of God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit is truly nothing short of a miracle of transformation within a person’s heart and life. This is why Jesus died and rose again, to give us new life in Him.

From eternity past, we know that God had a wonderful plan to rescue and save humanity from the sin He knew we would enslave ourselves in. This study of Soteriology examines the price God was willing to pay for our atonement through sending Jesus Christ His Son to die on the cross for our sins and rise again victoriously.

Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
