COMMUNION

During the Last Supper Jesus instructed His disciples regarding the emblems of Passover that were symbolic of His Body and Blood that would become the sacrificial lamb crucified at Calvary to fulfill the Old Testament requirements and inaugurate the New Covenant.

There are lessons to be learned from the Table of the Lord that are simple - but powerful, and at the same time are profound - but doable. They are lessons for each of us that are relevant, applicable, and transformational! And they are effectively demonstrated in today’s primary text of Philippians 2:1-11.

Those lessons are: 

1) Humility

2) Consideration

3) Sacrifice

4) Surrender
