Message #98 - ECCLESIOLOGY - The Doctrine of the New Testament Church (Part 4)

Feb 4, 2024    Pastor Mark Geer

Our message today continues our Systematic Theology Series with a study of Ecclesiology ~ the study of the Doctrine of the New Testament Church.

As we continue to examine the nature of the Church and it’s character we answer in today’s message a few important questions:

1) What is the Church?

2) And what sort of things do not describe the Church?

Pastor Mark was going to also address a few additional questions regarding the Church & Israel asd well as the Church and the Kingdom of God, but chose in today's message to postpone those until next week. So please check out next Sunday's message as well to get the answers to the following questions:

1) Is the Church the same as the nation of Israel? Has it replaced Israel? Is it the “New Israel”?

2) Is the Church the same as the Kingdom of God? Or is it a part of the Kingdom of God? And by the way, “What is the Kingdom of God?”

Hopefully you will find satisfactory answers to these questions in today’s message and discover that the Church is a unique and special creation of God that you can be a part of through accepting Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord.

Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
