Aug 8, 2021    Pastor Mark Geer    Series: Systematic Theology for Daily Living / Text: Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 12:6-7; Matthew 10:28; 2 Cor. 5:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Hebrews 4:12

Today we begin an in-depth look at the topic of sin, also known as Hamartiology in the larger context of Systematic Theology. In today’s message we explore the origin, nature and characteristics of sin.

Quite honestly it is a sickening subject. It is tragic what has happened to humanity. However, by taking an honest look at ourselves in light of what the Scriptures have to say about humanity and the fallen sin nature we each have one can truly appreciate what Jesus Christ has done to redeem us and deliver us from the bondage of sin.

The Good News from Scripture is that there is hope for those who surrender their lives and hearts to the Lordship of Jesus! Find out how as you listen today and allow the Spirit of God to apply His Words of truth to your personal life.

Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
