Message #82 - PNEUMATOLOGY - The Person & Work of the Holy Spirit (Part 11)

Today we continue our Systematic Theology Series and the study of Pneumatology ~ the study of the Holy Spirit of God.

Pastor Mark Geer continues a special study of the Work of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament from Pentecost and beyond, considering His work in our human experience. 

In today’s message we examine further the Holy Spirit’s involvement in the believer’s life following salvation. We look at several things the Holy Spirit does in a believer’s life that are progressive works that will ultimately be completed when Christ returns for His Church:  1) Our Sanctification, and 2) Our Glorification. Our message closes with a soberly look at the danger of sinning against the Holy Spirit through resistance, dismissing, rejecting, slighting, grieving or outright blaspheming Him. It’s an important reminder to us that we should be ever so thankful and careful to appreciate the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and to honor this gift of the Third Person of the Godhead.   

Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
