Message #108 - ECCLESIOLOGY - The Doctrine of the New Testament Church (Part 14)
Today we continue our Systematic Theology Series and our study of the topic of Ecclesiology ~ the study of the New Testament Church.
In today’s message Pastor Mark Geer addresses the role of women in the church with a historic look at the Pentecostal Movement, the Assemblies of God position on ordaining women in ministry, and many Biblical examples of women whom God used in Scripture, in both the Old and New Testaments, who served faithfully in ministry and leadership positions in Israel and also the New Testament Church.
While the matters are complex and not everyone agrees, it is with painstaking patience, love and grace, as well as an open mind and a humble spirit that we seek to address the role of women in the church and ministry, while extending grace to both those women who feel called to ministry and those who hold to a different view than the Assemblies of God.
Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
