#17 The Ministry of Peter & The Miracles That Followed

Our series in the Book of Acts continues with today’s message on the ministry of Peter and the miracles that followed.

In today’s message Pastor Mark Geer follows the text as Peter’s ministry continues and extends to the cities of Lydda and Joppa. Incredible miracles follow Peter’s ministry as a fulfillment to Jesus’ promise that signs and wonders would follow those who would believe in Him and take this gospel to the ends of the earth.

In today’s text we witness a man completely healed who had been crippled for 8 years! We also see a woman named Tabitha (Dorcas) pass away, whose ministry of sewing blankets and doing good to others has so blessed her community. However, God wasn’t through with her yet! He sends Peter to pray over her and raise her from the dead! 

The takeaway from today’s message is this: God is at work – in the midst of your trials. So don’t lose hope. Don’t give up. Keep the faith. Continue trusting the Lord. He has a plan! He is working! Even if you can’t see it, or understand it – just know that He’s not through yet!
