#24 The Tribulations at Iconium & Lystra

Our series in the Book of Acts continues with today’s message on the incredible trials Barnabas & Paul face in Lystra, including division, violence, heresy and stoning! These were truly tribulations that only the Holy Spirit could help them overcome.

On this Pentecost Sunday we pray that you will see the incredible power of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and how this experience equips us to face the trials of life. What are you going through today? What challenges are you facing that you feel ill-equipped to handle and overwhelmed by? The Baptism in the Holy Spirit brings the power of heaven to bear on your situations and it is relational – the Spirit of God indwelling you, encouraging you, empowering you, comforting you, and speaking through you! We all could use more of that every day! Every moment of every day!
